Dry weather only!!!

I’m really quite disappointed with these boots given the market they are aimed at. They are definitely over sized so I would recommend at least half a size smaller than your usual shoe size. They also have very flat soles so over long distance offer very little foot support except for around the ankle.

They are perfectly good in the dry but when it comes to any level of moisture a cheap pair of walking boots would out perform them unfortunately. Dew covered short grassy foot paths are enough damp to give you wet feet within minutes and any hard damp surface (concrete/tarmac/stone) will have you treading carefully. Tactical units will not be using these unless operating in dry environments.

Shame really given the cost and reputation.
